Love?

Updated: May 19, 2022

Love.

What even is love?

Our human race defines love as "an intense feeling of deep affection."

To me, it seems very general.

There are all different kinds of love out there.

Love for your family,

Love for your friends,

Love for your partner,

Love for your planet,

Love for animals

&

Love for yourself

All are different forms of love but share the same common denominator which I believe to be the emotion felt.

Love's generalized definition only says so much.

I'm sure we all know and have experienced the many layers to love.

That shit can be intense.

I feel as though you can go even deeper with what 'love' you are experiencing.

Your love can be conditional or unconditional.

Your love can be based off internal reasons or external reasons, or both.

Love itself can be scary and intimidating.

But it can also be beautiful and rewarding.

Love can be timeless,

But it can also be fleeting.

Do you truly value whatever or whoever it is you're loving?

Do you value them enough to love them unconditionally?

When it comes to love.. you can find it anywhere..

When it comes to true value, it may be a little more scarce.

Either way,

Both love and value stem from the same place.

They stem from you internally.

How much do you truly value and love yourself?

That is what will be reflected in the way you love and value others, and the way they love and value you.

Love and value go hand in hand.

The deeper the value you find in the ones you love,

the deeper your love for them grows.

Don't be reckless with love, be intentional.
